Do you have a screenplay and want to take it to the next level?

LearnThink Media has designed an online pilot course that shows you how to turn your screenplay into production. As we test out the possibility of hosting summer film camps online, we’d like to offer youth ages 10-14, 15-19, and 20+ the opportunity to join us for the chance to write their own story,  “From Idea to Paper.

The course brings kid-friendly examples to help them turn their screenplay into a viable script to shoot with.

If your kids have taken our “From Idea to Paper” workshop, they should be ready with a screenplay. If they are starting from scratch, no problem! They can use a template script to practice with!

Topics include: 1) Camera Angles & Shot Sizes, 2)  Camera Movements, 3) Editing Styles I & II, 4) How to Mark Your Script, 5) How to Create a Shot List, 6) Cast & Crew Definitions, 7) Techniques on Set, 8) Lighting

By the end of the 8 one-hour course students will have a marked script and a shot list ready to turn their screenplay into production.  It’ll be up to your kids to use their resources like a phone or an iPad and family support to put their production into action in the safety of your quarantine space. *Please do not leave the house for this production. Backyard and frontyard only.*

The pilot program is limited to a minimum of 3 students with a maximum of 15 students who must commit to the 8, one-hour course in order to be ready to complete the final project.

Please consider making a donation to our organization so we can continue providing opportunities for our youth to develop 21st Century Skills through education in filmmaking, media arts, and technology.
