Sponsor Coordinator Assistant (2)

Requirements

  • Active enrollment in college.
  • Able to commit to a part-time schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Includes the support of events as needed (evenings & weekends).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with the Executive Director and Board of Directors (when necessary) to create and implement sponsorship objectives; including the corporate partnership plan and manage execution and fulfillment of sponsorship agreements and related items.

  • Identify, solicit and secure corporate sponsors and in-kind donations for all programming and events.
  • Execute post-contract activities for new sponsorships and maintain communication with corporate partners to keep them current on value-added opportunities and to acknowledge their payments or contributions.
  • Assist with creation of  volunteer program opportunities for employees of corporate funders.
  • Able to work evenings and weekends as required (preferred).

  • Ability to thrive and work effectively as part of a small team and remain self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects, meet deadlines, problem-solve, and multi-task.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with donors, volunteers, and the public with diplomacy, discretion, and customer-service orientation.
  • Essential to have intellectual curiosity and a strong interest in the LearnThink Media mission, vision and values.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of LearnThink Media, its programs and initiatives, history and goals.
  • Speak English and Spanish (preferred)
Marketing Assistant (2)

  • Assist in monitoring active marketing programs and developing ways to improve those campaigns.
  • Submit ideas for experimental marketing programs designed to enhance and grow the non-profit organization’s brand.
  • Work closely with Executive Director and other team members to create campaigns.
  • Collaborate with volunteers and other team members to creative innovative ways to gain exposure for our services and our sponsors.
  • Be available as a resource for Executive Director who needs assistance with completing large projects.
